“A thousand cups of tea” is the Māori metaphor for building trusting relationships. It’s a lovely reminder of the art of conversation, listening, storytelling and taking the time to connect, and tap into collective social, emotional and spiritual intelligences. It’s through these human patterns of connection that we build trust, strengthen our sense of belonging and form lasting networks and communities that harness collective wisdom and accelerate systems intelligence.
As a systems connector I create spaces and communities of interest where people can gather to connect, synergize, and originate. Humans are social beings, and learning is a social activity that happens in the present.
