I founded LEARNING CULTURE in 2012 to focus on the human dimension of transformation and help leaders to shape learning organizations within ecosystems that foster human connection, innovation and transformative leadership.   

Human transformation is a complex and fascinating exploration with a rich and colourful lexicon of concepts and wisdom that span ancient philosophers to modern thought leaders.

In a world that is ever evolving humans are transforming too. And as we discover more about being human we see that leadership goes beyond logic and reason to a holistic model that embodies the power of the mind-body relationship, human senses and soul.

The unlimited capacity of human potential goes beyond what we have been able to do so far and is limited by our mindsets, and our environments.

It is exciting that science now confirms that mindsets are highly changeable, that the brain is neuroplastic and can form new neural connections - or mindsets - at any point of life. Positive psychology has done a lot to accelerate human awareness and help people create new narratives that are transformative in that they are more self-serving, and coaching is a powerful channel for accelerating human transformation.

Terena has worked at the leading edge of systems and human transformation for over 30 years and is a connector and catalyzer who prefers to move between the roles of shapeshifter, designer, architect, broker, mentor, coach, facilitator and roll-your-sleeves-up team player. 

Terena is a Kolbe™ Accredited Practitioner, an Accredited Executive Coach, a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), tertiary qualified through Massey University, New Zealand, and a global thought leader in best practice transformation, human development, and systems leadership.

She engages on a project basis which could mean anything from a 1-hour intervention to an in-depth program over six months. Success metrics are established at the outset although the full extend and impact of transformation is rarely predictable at the beginning of the journey.
